I’ve never liked spending money, so it is difficult anytime

for cars, I do try to purchase new or lease return because I would hate for my kid to be stuck on the side of the road. Got lucky with the last car–2013 vw jetta, only 7200 miles and had all the bells and whistles. used car price, but got the new car financing–yes, working on credit score for the kid because eventually they will need something when they look for a place to live…but that is another story.

We’ve been scoring big at the grocery store recently, the bogo’s have been great. The last 3 trips have had savings of $50 or more and spent under $100….that is spending/saving I like to see

I think we have decided to keep the suburban for a little longer

It will be the car we take when we have everyone home. So not often. I think we have decided to buy me a new to us under our budget Mazda 6. It will be for when it is us and just the 3 littles. We do mainly errands with the main car anyway. I work at home. I think we will save enough on gas to help with the suburban repairs. Since it will be drove way less we should have less repairs. The left over money is going into our addition fund. If the suburban gets worse we will replace it then. So, I guess I am getting a car for the first time since I was 19 ! We have always had a suv or van. Woot ! Woot !
